I wonder what everyone's summer assignments are.
Mine's is: Write a 500 word essay about the techniques used in (Book of choice).
(I know, I laughed. I was like "only 500?")
PS. When responding to posts, I think it would be better if you create another post with the title RE: something instead of using comments....
Sometimes comments gets overlooked....

The only summer assignments I have are Chinese hw my chinese school gives me and math work my mom gives me. I don't really like the chinese stuff, but it's worth doing--we get rewards for doing it(:
The math stuff comes from AoPS (Art of Problem Solving). If you want to get ahead, it's really useful!

I'm doing AOPS too! I spend like five hours a day doing that stuff, and it gets really frustrating. I don't usually work on Chinese though... I can speak it like I just got back from China, but I can't read 3 in 5 characters. My mom keeps on trying to get me to learn, but the way I figured it, if I know how to speak it, I could get somebody to write for me when I need to write something.
Same here on the Chinese, Xiaoyan. I can speak sorta fluently but my writing and recognition is horrible.
Wouldn't it be hard to create a reply since the newest ones appear at the top. How about... underneath leave your comment, you have the option of having follow-up comments emailed to you
